Start with onion,garlic and smoked sausage
Add butternut squash cover and cook
Add chopped thyme,sage,hot pepper,pinch of turmeric and garbanzo beans and some water
Cover and continue to cook
Boil little hat pasta, drain, reserve some pasta water
Add pasta to squash and beans
Add a little pasta water, Parmesan cheese, olive oil and a hint of nutmeg
Mix to a creamy consistency adding more pasta water as needed
Finish with fine bread crumbs and more cheese if you would like
Serve with a salad of Arugula, asparagus and shredded carrots
